Derrick Chan
Orange Unified School District, Assistant Director of Network and Systems
Derrick Chan is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of IT and leadership experience within the education sector. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Network and Systems at Orange Unified School District, he leads collaborative efforts to secure and maintain the district’s network, server and data infrastructure.
Derrick’s background includes roles as the Administrative IT Director at Brea Olinda Unified School District, Director of Academic Support at Santiago Canyon Community College, and has served in management and technical roles at the Orange County Department of Education. He is passionate about creating learning environments that foster innovation and providing tools for teachers to showcase their skills and enhance the student learning experience.
